Everyone loves birthday parties and even when we're grown up, we still smile at the sight and sound of children laughing at puppets and gazing in wonder at a magic trick or as someone gives a few expert twists to a balloon and an animal shape magically appears.

And, let's be honest... we're just as spellbound and fascinated as the children!

So imagine being able to actually operate the puppet and do the magic tricks and twist those balloons yourself? And what's more...

... not only could you attend birthday parties as often as you like... you'd also get paid at least $100 for a half hour show!

Isn't that about as close as you can get to heaven, without actually dying?

You might not know this, but there are people in every area of the world quietly making a very nice full time income from part time work, putting on shows for children's birthday parties. Even beginners can command a $100 for a 30 minute show. And, as you get more experienced, what you make will double to $200. Exactly what you make will depend on your location, but, if I tell you top party show providers in large cities, like New York command $500 and upwards for a 30 minute show, you can see the sky really is the limit for you.

Getting plenty of bookingsisn't a problem, becausenew customers arrive automatically.

Here's how it works... you do your first party for, say, ten children. All you need do to start a torrent of new business is to make sure they all have a great time.

Then, the nine guests go home and tell their parents what a great time they've had. And I don't need to tell you that children are great ones for wanting what others have. So you can be sure that at least three of those original nine guests with birthdays coming up soon, will be making their parent's lives a misery until they book you for their party.

So now you have three parties that didn't cost you a red cent in advertising to book. And say those three parties also have just nine guests each and a third of those book you. That means you now have bookings from nine parties. And all from just one party.

You can now see why the sky really is the limit in this business, because it has built in "viral marketing".

And, once you've built your reputation the rate you charge will increase ($200 is a good average in most areas). And demand is all around, so there's no need to travel far from home. That means you could do a couple of parties in an afternoon. So, - if you did just a couple of afternoons a week (or only four parties at the weekend instead) you could make (4 X $200) = $800 a week.

In fact, if you are doing it for a spare time income, you'll soon be wondering if you can really afford to stay on the job treadmill, when you can make far more from your party business!

And, of course, such a home based business would be the perfect answer if you're a stay at home Mom with your own child. Because you could arrange this fun, undemanding business around your life, rather than being a slave to some surly boss.

And as for looking after your own child... I bet they would LOVE to be going to birthday parties several times a week.

Because you can pick what days you do parties, it's perfect for virtually anyone

For example, if you're a stop at home mom, you'd probably prefer to do this during the week, leaving the weekends free. But if you have a regular 9 to 5 job and want to make an easy extra income, you'd prefer to do shows at the weekend. And if you are a student, your flexible hours will allow you to book shows around your college timetable and do them at virtually any time.

Training Module #1: Puppets

Puppets always fascinate both children and adults and every child in the world knows Sesame Street with Big Bird and The Muppets with Kermit the frog and Miss Piggy. So you really should consider making them the center piece of your show because nothing makes a show come alive more than a puppet.

Because being able to do ventriloquism and combine this with puppets will really set you apart from the competition. This means customers will soon be seeking you out for their parties and it also means you can charge more for your service. Training Module #4: Games Hosting

The easiest way to start your birthday party business is to become a Games Host. Almost all parties require a Games Host and so there is never a lack of such entertainers.

However, note that there are more competitors in this area as Games Hosting is a skill that can be picked up easily. You will need to stand out from the competition. In our training module, you will get to do so!

When giving a children's birthday party it's important to consider your audience at all time, because children need special consideration, . They will be in a high state of excitement so it's important to structure your shows very carefully to avoid confusing or frightening the youngest ones. And - bearing in mind who is paying for all this - you must give special attention to the birthday child. That way they can tell their parents (who are paying your bill) they've had a good time and the other children, seeing what a good time the birthday child gets, will start to pester their parents to hire you when their birthday comes around.

So, there are many factors to take into account, which is why I'm including a special section on structuring your show to ensure you get the best possible professional results. That way, you'll quickly build a good reputation in your local community (remember parents are in constant contact with all the other parents in your area, via schools and other child centered activities).

I'm also covering the important areas of actually setting up your home business, so it can be on a proper professional footing from day one. This will allow you to avoid any future problems.

Adding more magic with music!

Another way you can set yourself apart from your competitors (and charge higher fees) is to provide music. And music adds greatly to the party atmosphere.

And here are a couple of practical reasons why you need music:

	You can use music to entertain the audience whilst you get set up for your show. So do like I do and always make setting up the music your first task.
	By using a professional sound system, you can preserve your voice. This is important because, when word gets round and you are doing parties all the time, you'll need to look after your chief assets - you and your voice.
